About Us
MAKAN means “to eat” in Malay and Indonesian, and for us it represents a genuine love for food.
Located in Adelaide CBD, Makan Wine Bar is an Asian fusion restaurant and wine bar inspired by the bold flavours of Southeast Asia.
Led by a team with over a decade of hospitality experience, our kitchen brings refined, flavour driven dishes designed for sharing, while our bar offers a carefully curated wine list. We are proud to have received the 2025 Australia’s Wine List of the Year Award, reflecting our commitment to quality.
